Windows into Worlds
Collage is the practice of putting the world back together, utilizing divided parts into one
collective piece. Our current path is universe-building. Each artwork in this series weaves
together ideas of Buddhism and Jewish Mysticism. Both concepts highlight the essence of
interconnectivity and the truth of non-duality. By sharing this perspective with all, the congruent
subconscious is able to tap into the energy that travels within. - internal momentum
We have noticed that we are guided by the medium of collage- the images lead us to
where they are most aligned. Each visual has a frequency, and as we organize pieces using the
OM we are able to match where best it vibrates. The collage quite literally shifts and snaps into
place. This process is a collaboration with nature, a dynamic dance of giving and returning. As
we surrender any fight against the mud of life, we are able to allow for the lotus to bloom.
Our general collage practice began several years ago. At first touch- our heart was
enamored with the intuitive motions of composition and the unpredictability of resources that the
universe will reveal to us. As we walk this life, we notice our brain collaging the world in our
mind. We grab moments, places, and beings into new realms- where they can exist as one entity.
The range of our collage pieces is all-encompassing, by visually connecting moments that don’t
apparently connect- we highlight the practice of non-duality. We notice that a maximalist
approach fully allows for the controlled chaos that is here and now. We are also deeply
appreciative of the details of life- the various textures that surround- we’d like to bring attention
to all of it. Our goal is to help our collective be gratefully aware of all the ways the atoms that
comprise us- interchange throughout our world.
