Joely received her diploma from NOVA Southeastern and their Bachelors in Fine Art with a minor in Printmaking and Critical theory from Maryland Institute College of Art. In their highschool education she received the Future Filmmaker and Visual Creator Award from NOVA, as well as the Short Story Writer Award from Broward County. They worked as an art teacher’s assistant for Poppet Project and worked as an intern for VISTA productions. In Joely's college education she had multiple solo shows, exhibited works in over 10 group shows, and worked as a creative project manager for a kids toy company (Goblies).  Joely continues her artist practice outside of her education- going on to be published in three separate magazines across the world, exhibited in galleries online and in-person, and showcases her artwork at various South Florida art shows/markets. The mediums that Joely focuses on most is collage and printmaking. She is fascinated with the effort of putting the world back together, utilizing divided parts into one collective piece. As well as, the physical act of carving intricate details into wood to create art that challenges the viewer to see past the illusion of the line work. Joely notices that a maximalist approach fully allows for the controlled chaos that is here and now. Her skills include collage, printmaking, filmmaking, writing, graphic design, product design, drawing, and painting.
